The QNUK Level 2 Award in Mental Health at Work is an introductory course designed to raise awareness of mental health issues in the workplace. Learners will gain a foundational understanding of mental health, how to identify signs of mental distress, and effective strategies to support a mentally healthy work environment.

QNUK is a UK awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), and Brexit did not affect the validity of these awards — they remain fully recognised and deliverable internationally, including in Ireland. While this qualification is not a QQI award and doesn't sit on Ireland's NFQ, it's externally quality-assured and widely used by employers for workplace training and CPD. This is a half-day course with interactive sessions and discussions.
Assessment is conducted through a multiple-choice exam. Successful candidates will receive the QNUK Level 2 Award in Mental Health at Work (RQF), recognised throughout the UK.
There are no pre-requisites for this course, making it accessible to all employees interested in mental health awareness.
Learners may wish to progress to the Level 3 Award in Mental Health at Work or other advanced mental health courses to deepen their understanding and skills.
